Our client, ThAImis, is seeking a Vice President with a JD or LLB to lead the next phase of growth for its AI-powered legal research platform.

This is a full-time role that can be based remotely anywhere in Canada, with a Toronto office available for those who wish to use it. Salary is $125,000 CDN, with a potential bonus based on the success of the business.

ThAImis's platform, built on technology developed by Blue J Legal, predicts how Canadian courts will decide cases. It currently helps lawyers predict outcomes in employment and labour law, with plans to expand into additional practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial lawyer who wants to use their legal training in a business-building capacity, without practising law. In this broad role, you will have responsibility for the overall direction of the platform, including product strategy, business development, customer relationships, and the rollout of new practice areas. The mandate can be shaped around your strengths, whether those lie more in business development or in product and content development, and is well suited to someone comfortable working alongside IT teams and curious about where legal AI is heading.
